Locate is hosting a series of Relocation Events for people who have moved to the Isle of Man, so they can get together, share experiences and challenges, build friendships, and learn what the island has to offer. It is the perfect event for those who have recently relocated! In particular, if you are struggling with the transition or are not sure where to start when it comes to meeting new people.
Event Details:
Explore the stunning landscape surrounding the Isle of Man as we travel on the Manx Electric Railway from Douglas to The Fyndoeree Distillery in Ramsey, which distills premium Manx spirits. At the Fyndoree Distillery, you will be welcomed with a drink and pizza, and then can indulge in all that the distillery has to offer! Meet us in Douglas or Ramsey at The Fynoderee Distillery for a night of laughter, local spirits, and lasting connections.

Event Details:
Join us for a leisurely stroll around Port St Mary, and enjoy the peaceful and tranquil surroundings. This ramble will be led by Ken and others from walking.im, who will immerse you in the local history the landscape has to offer. As we return, we will stop at the Albert Pub, for a well-deserved rest and refreshments.
Meeting Point and Route:
Port St Mary Commissioner's Office ( what3words: ///viciously.unpeeled.inspections)
Starting at the Commissioner's office, we will walk along the peaceful and scenic Port St. Mary catwalk and harbor towards Kallow Point. We will stop along the way to learn more about the landscape's history, stopping to examine the Dunkirk/WW2 memorials before venturing onto the beach to hunt for fossils! We conclude our journey by traveling along the scenic Raad Ny Foillan to Glen Chass. Lastly, our journey back will include a pit stop at the Albert pub for some well-deserved refreshments.
Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for this event. This walk has very little incline, making it suitable for most walkers.

Join us for an evening filled with pre-Christmas cheer. This relocation event is the perfect way to bring in the true festive season.
Welcome drinks will be served at Tea Junction, Douglas, followed by a buffet, whilst you share your experiences of moving to the Isle of Man with others who have also taken the same journey.
