8 things to add to your 2019 Christmas itinerary

We know that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year – but it can also be one of the busiest! Here is a list of our favourite things to do in the Isle of Man this festive season.

1. Have Dinner on the Train.

The Railway Restaurant continues their Dinner on the Train events with a festive spin. Enjoy food, bubbles and beverages on the train this winter, a great activity for a group! To find out more information and to book, click here.

2. Visit Groudle Glen Railway Santa Train.

Enjoy a trip along the coast to Santa’s Grotto in Groudle Glen, an activity which combines history with festivity. For full details, click here.

4. Watch this year’s pantomime: Peter Pan.

The Pantomimes at the Gaiety theatre are never anything short of brilliant and are always festive! The show will be running Monday to Sunday from the 21 December until the 4 January. Book your tickets here.

5. Visit the Castletown the festive market.

The Isle of Man has a fantastic range of local businesses who sell their products at the markets across the Island. Usually only available on the last Saturday of each month, there are a number of additional Festive Markets running across the start of December where you can find interesting art products for your Christmas partnered with amazing world food by local producers.
