Learn more about the Isle of Man in 'More' MagazineThe first edition of 'More' Magazine, a high quality new annual magazine has been created to highlight the many benefits of relocating to the Isle of Man for new businesses and residents.
The first edition of 'More' Magazine was published in November 2019 by Keith Uren Publishing Ltd and highlights the many benefits of relocating to the Island across 92 pages of content and will be distributed at events and exhibitions across the UK and Europe.
The magazine, which is printed in full colour on silk paper with a soft touch laminate cover and perfect bind, features a foreword from Minister for Enterprise Laurence Skelly MHK, who commented:
‘We are actively promoting the benefits of living and working in the Isle of Man to a global audience, and ‘More’ magazine is a fantastic publication for us to share with both new contacts and our global network, including the Manx Diaspora. Whilst the locate.im website has a great deal of information available on relocating, this magazine provides a high end, professional publication which will be a key tool in our continued pursuit of attracting new business, skills and talents to the Island’.
Contents of ‘More’ magazine include information on government relocation packages, National Insurance holiday scheme and taxation benefits. It also contains information on specific skills shortage areas, with helpful advice on salary potential, grants and relocation assistance. For those considering business start-ups or scale-ups, there is information on the Micro Business and Small Business financial support packages.
A range of private sector companies have showcased the benefits of their working environment, staff benefits and their affinity for helping the Island community, which feature alongside relocation stories and first-hand accounts from individuals who have made the move. There is also practical advice, including a property section which highlights the availability of new builds and established
‘More’ magazine is an independent project which was designed and published on-island by Keith Uren Publishing Ltd. Keith commented:
‘I am proud of being from the Isle of Man, and it was a pleasure for me to contribute to helping promote the Island’s offering to new residents. I received a great deal of support and collaboration, not just from the Department for Enterprise, but from private sector contributors, who are all passionate about what the Isle of Man can offer - both to businesses and their staff.’
