Our client seeks an Accountant to join their team. Role Profile: You will support the Directors & General Manager in preparing monthly financial reporting for the business & also client companies. This role has a particular focus on supporting aviation project managers & procurement, ensuring that accounting & administrative issues are dealt with promptly. The work involves budgeting, accounting, cash management & reporting for the business & client companies. It also involves preparation of ad hoc financial reports, consolidating all client companies, when this is requested by the client. In addition, the Accountant will provide administrative support to the aviation project managers, preparing approval documentation, maintaining records of important documentation & also provide cover for the accounting & administrative work of the finance team. Key Responsibilities. Company accounting & reporting. Liaise with aviation project managers to confirm supplier invoices received by are in accordance with supplier contract terms. Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting for the business & other subsidiaries. Review monthly posting of invoices & compare actual to budget, explain variances. Reconcile Centrip card & webexpenses statements to accounting records. Review draft sales invoices for rebilling supplier costs & ensure these are in accordance with contract with the client company. Client company accounting & reporting. Support aviation project managers with preparation of budgets for sea planes & helicopters. Prepare monthly financial reporting for aviation companies. Review monthly posting of invoices & compare actual to budget, explain variances. Liaise with aviation project managers to confirm supplier invoices received by client companies are in accordance with supplier contract terms. Client company administration. Maintain electronic records of certificates, contracts, insurance policies & other documentation for aviation companies. Prepare standard documentation to support budget approvals & funding, as well as approval & signature of final contract terms by client company directors. Provide back office & admin support for operational activities of client companies for aviation team, yacht managers & procurement team. Financial analysis. Prepare ad hoc cost budgets to support quotes for aviation charters & new short-term commercial leasing arrangements. Support the preparation of client company cash management spreadsheets, forecasting future commitments & funding requirements. Prepare ad hoc reports on costs &. Prepare budgets & supporting documentation for new operations, activities & growth. Cover for accounting & administrative tasks. Input invoices to IPay invoice approval system by 14:00 approval cut off. Input of invoices to Quickbooks, including allocation of Quickbooks account code based on budget. Prepare invoices for client companies in accordance with contract terms. Prepare bank payments & transfers by approval cut off Key Skill & Experience: Part qualified or qualified by experience. Client accounting experience. Experience of preparation of financial statements for companies & Clients Experience of working in the Aviation sector would be advantages but not essential.
