Position Summary & Key Responsibilities; primary responsibility of stocking, kitting, return to stock, issuing of spare parts, coordinating inventory and obsolescence initiatives. Suitable applicant has initiative and organizational skills for effective store room operation per best practice standards. Assure stocking of incoming spare parts are inventoried in an accurate and efficient manner. Ability to carry out stores functions to a consistently high standard. Work closely with Planner Schedulers to match delivery schedules with shop needs. Verification of receipts in line with purchase orders. Inspection of received items against prints as necessary. Ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise and identify systemic improvements. Contribute to the achievement of department, plant and company objectives. Perform all day-to-day tasks in the most cost-effective manner.
Position Requirements: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience:Minimum 2 years of applicable warehouse or stores experience. Skills/Knowledge: Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word,Excel and Outlook) and data input.
