Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud Services

Strong experience in a senior systems administration role, preferably in a service provider environment.
Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, storage, virtualisation and security devices.
Expert knowledge of backup and replication technologies.
Proven background of providing great customer service.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone, in person or written.
Demonstrated high levels of accuracy with excellent time management and organisational skills.
To drive the role forward, the individual will be responsible for architecting, installing, and operating hardware and software technologies hosting Sure’s cloud services. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the end to end delivery of Sure’s cloud suite, comprising IaaS, disaster recovery, backup, network, security, and associated services. Within an evolving technology and cloud services marketplace, the successful candidate will often investigate, design, deploy, and automate new technologies, providing for current and future needs. The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with our customers to design and deliver complex, enterprise-level infrastructures that integrate and leverage Sure’s solutions.

It is key for candidates to have experience in a senior infrastructure engineering role with responsibility for VMware, storage and networking is required. Experienced VCP with other qualifications is highly desirable.
