Our client, a busy independent accountancy and fiduciary practice, is seeking a Compliance & Data Protection Assistant to support their regulated business. Reporting to the Compliance Officer, you will assist with client compliance, including KYC/CDD reviews, monitoring high-risk clients, sanctions checks, and trust account reconciliations. You will also support policy and procedure maintenance, prepare compliance reports, and assist with regulatory and external reporting.
The role includes supporting data protection compliance, helping the DPO implement procedures, monitor GDPR adherence, and deliver training. You will also assist the MLRO with AML/CFT requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous compliance experience in a regulated environment, strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, responsible approach.
