Our client seeks a Business Analyst to join their growing Change Department team Role Profile: You'll work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and help shape the future of the organisation. In this key role, your analytical expertise and strategic thinking will enable smarter, more efficient ways of working, delivering tangible business improvements and operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities: Defining compelling business cases that deliver tangible benefits Documentation of as-is and to-be process flows Eliciting and documenting clear, actionable business requirements and user stories. Conducting data analysis to uncover opportunities and inform decisions Gap analyses impact and assessment Business analysis support for software development, testing, data migration, and upgradesCollaboration with 3rd parties, project managers, product owners and IT teamsSupporting UAT planning, planning, testing and validation to ensure business readinessMentoring junior members of the team and contributing to best practice within the change teamKey Skills and Experience:A relevant professional qualification (or working towards one), such as the BCS International Diploma in Business AnalysisAt least 4 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the life assurance industryExcellent analytical skills - sharp problem-solving mindset, value identification, critical thinking and decision supportA proven track record of delivering business improvement, efficiencies and digital transformation projectsStrong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks, including financial reporting and risk managementExperience with data modelling and data mapping in financial systemsUnderstanding of API integrations and file transfer processesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent facilitation, presentation and report writing skillsAbility to work either as part of a large project team or independentlyConfidence in building relationships across all levels of the businessExperience of working in agile or waterfall environmentsExperience with Microsoft products including Excel and Visio as well as SQL and DevOps.
