🎉 Myth #2: "There's nothing to do (especially if you're young)."
This is probably one of the biggest myths about the Isle of Man... and one of the easiest to bust.
For an island measuring just 33 miles long, there's an incredible amount going on. One day you could be hiking coastal cliffs, paddleboarding at sunrise or discovering a hidden glen. The next, you could be at a live music festival, food market, networking event, fitness class or cheering on world-famous motorsport.
If you're a graduate or young professional, you'll also find there's a growing community of people looking to connect. At Locate Isle of Man, we regularly host Relocation Events and Young Professional Connections events, making it easy to meet new people, build your network and settle into Island life. Whether it's a guided walk, a coffee afternoon or a careers workshop, there's always an opportunity to get involved.
Not sure what's happening this month? Check out ManxLife, a community hub packed with local events, activities and things to do across the Island, or browse our own events to see what's coming up. It's never been easier to discover something new. You could also explore Visit Isle of Man's What's On page. With so much happening year-round, it's never been easier to get involved and discover something new.
