1) Figure out your budget


The average house price in the Isle of Man is £271,000, which will get you a modest 3 bed detached house and garden. Property purchasers will find a diverse range of properties available including apartments, bungalows, traditional terraced, semi and detached houses as well as quaint cottages and large premium country and coastal properties. So don't worry if your budget is in the lower or higher figures, as you will be sure to find the right property for you and your family.

2) Location, Location, Location


Location is everything and you want to make sure you choose the right town or village for you. On the east coast, you'll find Douglas, Laxey and Onchan, which is the largest residential area on the Island with short commute times and regular public transport. You'll find the south boasts some of the best beaches and scenic spots around the old fishing towns of Port Erin and Port St Mary and Castletown. The growing town of Peel on the west coast of the Island boasts some of the most idyllic sunsets and new contemporary style housing estates properties on offer.
