Warehouse Manager

Our client seeks a Warehouse Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting cycle counts, and implementing strategies to optimise stock levels. Supervise and train warehouse staff, including warehouse associates, forklift operators, and supervisors, providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment, including compliance with health, safety, and security regulations. Coordinate with suppliers and other departments to ensure smooth workflow, timely delivery, and efficient use of warehouse space and resources. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movements, and warehouse activities. Manage warehouse equipment and fleet, including forklifts and other machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation. Plan and optimise warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency. Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of inventory management, order fulfilment, and materials handling. Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively. Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
