Financial Controller

We’re looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of a growing Isle of Man technology company providing Cloud-Style SaaS Platform and licensed Edge and Core connectivity services. You’ll own financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, compliance, and internal controls, while partnering closely with senior leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making. This role suits someone who enjoys building scalable processes, improving systems, and working in a fast-moving tech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce monthly management accounts, KPI dashboards, and board-level reporting.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling.
Ensure compliance with Isle of Man, UK, (other jurisdictions where applicable) tax, payroll, and statutory requirements.
Oversee all revenue recognition, subscription billing, and licence-based income.
Manage audits (when applicable), internal controls, and financial policies.
Support commercial pricing, contract reviews, and margin analysis.
Lead finance systems improvements and automation.
Manage a small finance team.
About You:
Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
Experience in SaaS, telecoms, connectivity, or technology sectors (preferable but not essential).
Confident with financial systems and process improvement.
Analytical, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally.
