Financial Accountant

Our client seeks a Financial Accountant to join their team. Role Profile: Responsible for supporting the financial operations of the business through accurate processing, reporting and analysis. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, preparing statutory and management accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee finance team members to perform daily financial administration and transactional processing.Prepare and analyse financial reports and accounts. Support the production of tax returns and compliance reporting. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls. Contribute to specialist areas or reporting, such as Roaming and Regulatory reporting. Manage and review regular financial inputs, including invoices, payments, receipts, journals, and reconciliations. Oversight of the Fixed Asset Register - setting up jobs, posting expenditure, preparing and logging business cases and tracking performance against budget. Monitor all inventory related transactions - including posting of transactions and running regular stock takes. Key Skills and Experience: Qualified accountant with 3 years + experience. Experience in financial accounting or similar roles. Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Organised and able to manage multiple priorities. Proactive and collaborative approach. The ability to motivate and guide team members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
