Job Summary:
A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join them on the beautiful Isle of Man, an area celebrated for its safety, stunning natural surroundings, and excellent quality of life.
This is the family’s full-time residence, set within extensive grounds and supported by an established outdoor team. The household is busy, friendly, and relaxed, with five children aged 6–17. The role will primarily focus on the younger three children, who split their time between 2 homes.
Mum is very hands-on and involved in the children’s daily lives. They are looking for a positive, organised, and energetic Housekeeper who genuinely enjoys working with school-age children and can become a supportive, consistent presence in the family.
You will work alongside a friendly and experienced estate team, who will guide you through household systems and routines. This is a collaborative, well-structured, and welcoming environment, ideal for someone who thrives as part of a family team.
Job specification:
Housekeeping to a high standard
School runs pick-ups and drop-off and taking the children to different after school events
Supporting morning and after-school routines
Cooking for the children and occasionally the family (simple, family-style meals – not formal cooking) and preparing snacks
Ad hoc childcare during school holidays and evenings
Helping to keep children’s bedrooms, play areas and family spaces organised
Laundry management, general weekly and daily shops.
Dog care and pet sitting
Candidate specification:
roven experience Housekeeper in a private household
Confident caring for multiple school-age children
A driver is required with a full clean driving licence – car provided for work and personal time
Warm, calm and structured approach
Energetic and organised with good initiative
Happy working within a team environment
Discreet and professional
Excellent, checkable references required
Must be pet friendly and enjoy working in homes with dogs
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
Working Days & hours: Five days per week, including weekends on two weeks of the month, 40 hours a week
