EC&I Maintenance Technician – Energy

As an EC&I Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our Energy from Waste facility.
You'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical, control and instrumentation systems, helping to maximise plant availability and performance.
You will provide on-site expertise on specialist equipment such as the CEMs (Emissions monitoring) and DCS/PLCs. You should also provide cross functional support to other team members, as and when required.
Supporting the installation, testing, commissioning and modification of plant equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and engineering standards.
Diagnosing and resolving instrumentation and control issues to minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
Working closely with operations and maintenance colleagues to support safe and efficient plant operations.
What are the requirements?
Completed relevant engineering apprenticeship and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
Knowledge of wiring regulations BS7671 (18th edition).
?Solid experience in PLCs, instrumentation troubleshooting, and DCS systems.
Instrumentation experience and troubleshooting.
Emissions monitoring qualification/experience (Training can be provided).
Suitable health and safety qualification/experience (Training can be provided).
