Our client seeks a Senior Manager - Non-Life Insurance to join their team and lead the supervision of the non-life insurance sector, encompassing both prudential and conduct supervision. The role also involves external stakeholder engagement as well as contributing to the maintenance and development of the Island's regulatory framework in line with international standards. Key Skills and Experience: Hold a relevant professional qualification. Proven experience in leadership and managing teams. Extensive relevant industry experience in an operational, regulatory, compliance, insurance, risk or audit/accounting role. Experience of working for a financial services regulator - desirable. Proven ability to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders at all levels including the ability to influence and negotiate. Ability to work under pressure, manage/oversee individual and team workloads of varied complexity, to manage competing priorities and to deliver against deadlines. Ability to prepare, lead and conduct meetings with senior stakeholders both internally and externally including dealing with difficult/contentious issues and having the ability to challenge on these. Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly and accurately assimilate information.
