Karsons Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician or Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our growing independent community pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive organisation committed to delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the continued development of pharmacy services across our branches.

You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient delivery of dispensing services, working closely with pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team. The role includes supporting daily dispensary operations, maintaining high professional standards, contributing to service improvements, and helping to develop efficient workflows that enhance the patient experience. There will also be opportunities to become involved in new pharmacy services and operational projects as the business continues to grow.

Applicants must have a minimum of five years' experience working in community pharmacy and be a qualified Pharmacy Technician or Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) registered with the GPhC. You should have an excellent understanding of community pharmacy practice, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, commercially aware, embraces technology, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while supporting colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement.

In return, we offer a competitive salary that is negotiable depending on experience, performance bonus opportunities following successful completion of probation, ongoing professional development, training in additional pharmacy services where appropriate, opportunities to broaden your clinical and technical skills, and the chance to build a long-term career within an ambitious independent pharmacy. You will work alongside an experienced leadership team that values collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

If you would like to join a forward-thinking community pharmacy where your contribution is recognised and your professional development is encouraged, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please submit your CV together with a short covering note explaining why you would like to join our team to jobs@karsonspharmacy.co.uk.

Application Question: Which personal value has had the greatest impact on your work, and how has it helped you deliver excellent patient care while contributing to the success of the pharmacy?
