Site Manager

Our client seeks a Site Manager to join their team. You will be the go-to person on-site, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll manage teams, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and keep everything running like a well-oiled (but friendly) machine. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise site operations from groundworks to completion. Lead Health & Safety standards at scale, embedding compliance and best practice across all site operations. Oversee and coordinate a high volume of subcontractors, suppliers and on-site workers. Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, supporting the directors and managing programme, budget, and risk. Monitor progress, manage timelines, and report regularly to the Directors. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, liaising with local authorities and other stakeholders. Resolve any issues or delays that arise on-site. Maintain site records and ensure documentation is up to date. Essential Requirements: SMSTS/SSSTS Certification. CITB. First Aid at Work. Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of building regulations and site health & safety. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and direct staff. Ability to take full operational responsibility, working autonomously in a growing business. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Calm under pressure and solutions-focused. Full clean driving licence.
