FOREST SCHOOL LEADER / OUTDOOR ENTHUSIAST WANTED!
Are you happiest in muddy boots, building shelters and inspiring children to explore the great outdoors?
We’re looking for an energetic and capable Forest School Leader or experienced outdoor and bushcraft enthusiast to join Team Bees, working with children from 2 through to 11 years old.
This is a hands on role involving long days, energetic children and adventures in all weathers. You’ll need bags of enthusiasm, plenty of initiative and the stamina to get properly stuck in, if a little rain stops play, this probably isn’t the role for you! ?????
Essential requirements:
A relevant childcare qualification
A full driving licence
A strong understanding of safeguarding
The ability to complete thorough risk assessments independently
Confidence working with children from babies to 11 years old
The energy and resilience to work outdoors for long periods in all weather and to make it immense fun for the little ones.
Reliability, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team
A Forest School qualification or bushcraft experience would be highly desirable.
We need someone safety conscious and genuinely passionate about giving children exciting, meaningful and memorable experiences in nature.
