Join a dynamic and growing corporate service provider as a Client Accountant. We are seeking a part qualified, newly qualified, or experienced professional who is comfortable with client bookkeeping and accounts preparation. You will work closely with both the Accounting and Tax team and the Client Services team, so excellent communication skills are essential. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career progression within a collaborative and growing team.
Your responsibilities will span client bookkeeping for companies across a range of industries, along with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements. You will prepare and submit VAT returns, administer client payroll, and assist in the preparation of Isle of Man corporate tax returns. You will also provide valuable support to clients and to the wider Accounting and Tax team.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in client bookkeeping, along with a solid knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including UK GAAP. Knowledge of UK corporate tax would be advantageous but is not essential. Relevant experience gained within a corporate service provider or similar environment is required, along with excellent organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency using accounts software or cloud-based systems. You will be self-motivated and autonomous, comfortable managing tasks independently and taking the initiative.
