Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.
Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns to senior staff promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including updates to care plans and incident reports.
Communicate effectively with residents, clients, family members, and team members to ensure clear understanding and positive relationships.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Skills:
Experience working in a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans accurately.
Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and updating care documentation.
Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with individuals receiving care.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
