This is a key role at the heart of Manx Mencap, providing the operational backbone that helps the charity and its people do their best work.
Varied and hands-on, you’ll coordinate day-to-day operations and administration, support the Board and governance processes, maintain systems and records, and provide practical support across people, fundraising, communications and events.
You’ll also have the opportunity to improve processes and help shape how the charity operates as it moves forward.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Strong administration or operational support experience
Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle competing priorities
Experience with databases/CRM systems and confidence with Microsoft Office
Experience supporting formal meetings, including agendas and minute taking
Confidence communicating with trustees, senior stakeholders and external organisations
A proactive, practical approach — spotting what needs doing and making it happen
Above all, a genuine connection with Manx Mencap’s purpose and the people it supports
Experience within the third sector or healthcare, fundraising and events, digital content or policy and procedure development would be an advantage.
