Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Manager is a key leadership role that bridges the gap between our transport office,
warehouse floor, and Class 2 drivers. In this position, you will assume full operational accountability for the physical movement of goods, warehouse efficiency, and the strategic management of both the administrative and delivery drivers. You will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, delivering island wide and managing our team of drivers and handling warehouse stock control. This is a hands-on management role that requires both strategic problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills to resolve customer queries and
lead your team effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Directly manage, shift-schedule, and train warehouse administrators and delivery drivers.
Plan and schedule daily delivery runs across the Isle of Man, maximizing fuel efficiency and
timing accuracy.
Establish operational goals, evaluate team performance, and build a culture of safety and
accountability.
Strategically align the daily delivery booking schedule with physical warehouse capacity and
staffing levels.
Coordinate with the transport team to ensure incoming stock is processed, inspected, and
allocated correctly.
Act as the main escalation point for customer inquiries, delivery delays, or challenges.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical warehouse
stock.
Supervise the physical staging and secure loading of home delivery vehicles to ensure transit
safety and zero-damage delivery.
Oversee the dispatch process to guarantee on-time departures and strict adherence to
customer delivery windows.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics, transport management, or warehouse operations.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example, diffuse stressful situations, and maintain high team morale.
Ability to assist with manual handling and lifting of heavy, bulky items when operational demands require a hands-on approach.
Forklift licence (Desirable).
