Our client seeks a Trainee Trust & Company Administrator to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Trust and Company teams in the day-to-day administration of client structures, ensuring tasks are progressed promptly and accurately. Process new business and client documentation under instruction. Assist with routine client correspondence and liaise professionally with clients, advisors and internal colleagues as appropriate. Refer more complex matters, technical issues or risks to the Trust Manager, Senior Trust Manager or other appropriate senior colleagues. Prepare letters, draft routine documentation, statutory forms and other administrative documents for review where required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including scanning, filing, due diligence records and correspondence. Process receipts and payments, assist with client invoicing and carry out other routine administrative tasks to assigned deadlines. Assist with the preparation and filing of statutory documents. Provide assistance to the team manager and colleagues in the administration of portfolios for high-net-worth clients. Undertake training and development to build technical knowledge and broaden capability within the role. Key Skills and Experience: Good standard of education, including English and Mathematics (A-Level and/or degree level preferred). Previous office or administrative experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to grasp new concepts and apply new skills quickly. Ability to identify and analyse problems by interpreting information available and escalating where appropriate. A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels. Ability to use standard office systems and maintain accurate records. Willingness to learn trust and company administration procedures and regulatory requirements. Previous relevant office experience within a trust, company or other regulated professional services environment. A willingness to progress and undertake a relevant professional qualification, for example STEP or CGI.
