Our leading Douglas-based Client is expanding their Finance Team in order to manage growth and demand within the business. To support them, they now require a Technical Procurement Officer.
The Technical Procurement Officer will oversee and complete the company's day-to-day purchasing and shipping activities, responsible for sourcing and purchasing quality products and services from a database of vetted suppliers and ensuring that procurement processes are adhered from requisition through to arranging the dispatch and shipping of these goods, globally.
We are seeking candidates for the role of Technical Procurement Officer who have a qualification in Marine Engineering, or Business Administration, 3 to 5 years of technical purchasing experience within the maritime, shipping/offshore oil and gas sector, familiarity with ship machinery, engine components, and deck/engine stores.
