Head of Compliance - Contract

Our client, an Isle of Man fiduciary business, is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance on a six-month contract. The role involves leading the compliance function, owning the compliance monitoring programme, maintaining and reviewing policies and procedures, and ensuring the business continues to meet its obligations under the Island’s regulatory framework and the AML/CFT Code. You will report to the board on compliance matters, prepare and submit regulatory returns, act as a point of contact for the regulator, and oversee customer due diligence, business and customer risk assessments, and periodic file reviews. You will also advise the wider business on regulatory and financial crime matters, deliver compliance training, and support any remediation or project work required during the contract term. Significant compliance experience within a trust and corporate service provider is essential, along with a thorough working knowledge of Isle of Man regulatory requirements and the confidence to operate at board level from day one. A relevant professional qualification such as ICA Dip is also essential. This is a contract position and would suit an experienced compliance professional available at short notice.
