Our client seeks an Accounting Manager to join their team Role Profile: You will be a qualified accountant working on client company accounting & reporting as well as company accounts. This role has a particular focus on supporting aviation procurement & operations. Involves budgeting, accounting, invoicing, cash management & reporting for client companies & also commercial work supporting contract negotiation & operational management. This includes preparing reports to obtain approval & funding for new projects, financial analysis & due diligence work. Also involved in accounting for yacht owning companies & consolidated reporting across all client companies. Key Responsibilities: Company accounting & reporting. Checking supplier invoices to supporting analysis/expenses & supplier contract terms. Prepare bank payments & transfers by approval cut off. Review monthly posting of invoices & compare actual to budget, explain variances. Prepare monthly financial reporting for aviation business. Client company accounting & reporting (emphasis on aviation companies). Prepare budgets for sea planes & helicopters. Prepare monthly financial reporting for aviation companies. Cash management, including forecasting income & funding requirements. Review monthly posting of invoices & compare actual to budget, explain variances. Check invoices to supporting analysis/expenses & supplier contract terms. New contracts & procurement. Support the development of contract terms for procurement of aviation related equipment & operating services. Liaise with aviation team in relation to contract requirements. Prepare documentation to support budget approval & funding, as well as approval & signature of final contract terms by client company directors. Prepare cost budgets to support invoicing of aviation charters & commercial leasing arrangements. Prepare budgets & supporting documentation for new operations, activities & growth. Support aviation project managers, yacht managers & procurement team. Provide back office & admin support for operational activities of aviation team, yacht managers & procurement team. Cover Input invoices to IPay invoice approval system by 14:00 approval cut off. Input of invoices to Quickbooks, including allocation of Quickbooks account code based on budget. Prepare invoices from company to rebilling client companies in accordance with contract terms. Provide cover for payments, commitments/cash analysis, monthly financial reporting. Prepare monthly financial reporting for yacht companies – refit. Prepare month financial reporting of company, including subsidiary Key Skills & Experience. Graduate Chartered Accountant with 2/3 years PQE. Experience of financial management including budgeting & financial reporting. Knowledge of financial controls. Hands-on experience of accounting software. Experience of working with Excel, Word, Outlook, Quickbooks: Qualified within an accounting practice. CSP experience of working with client companies & also knowledge of corporate governance & delegated authority frameworks. Experience of working in small/high growth business. Previous experience in international accounting &/or consolidation of accounts across a group of companies would be an advantage.
