Assistant Restaurant Manager

HQ Bar & Restaurant is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor to join our team. Successful candidates will have bar/restaurant experience and looking to take the next step in their career; they will be enthusiastic, driven and keen to learn; they will interact with a variety of different people and so will need to have excellent communication and people skills; be over 18 due to sale of alcohol; be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and flexible; ensure the customers experience the best in customer service, making sure our standards of service are high at all times.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Open & close procedures.
Occasional kitchen assistance.
Tending a busy bar.
Developing new standards and procedures.
Helping business growth.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager.
Running a busy restaurant service.
Attending to basic hotel needs.
Stock counts and ordering.
Overseeing organisation and cleanliness.
Attending to hotel guests on occasion.
Leading a small team.
Enforcing brand standards.

Preferred Requirements (not required):
Experience as a supervisor or senior team member.
Cocktail experience (preferred, but not required - training will be given).
Experience in leading people.

Requirements:
Great communication skills.
Drive, initiative and passion.
Green light, proactive and critical thinking.
Reactive Problem solving.
MS Office Literate.
