We're looking for a Sous Chef to support the day-to-day running of our cafe's kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sociable environment and is passionate about fresh, great-tasting food.
We offer sociable daytime working hours, with no split shifts, along with excellent rates of pay (dependent on experience). You will also benefit from Staff discount across the Woodbourne Kitchen brand group: Café 360, Greens Café, and Woodbourne Deli.
The role:
You will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operation, leading and motivating the kitchen team when required. You will ensure food is consistently prepared and presented to a high standard each day, and help maintain excellent hygiene and safety practices at all times. You will also be required to contribute ideas for seasonal menus and daily specials.
About you:
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable or a candidate that is ready to step up as Sous Chef. You should be reliable, energetic, and calm under pressure. We're after a team player with strong communication skills who is passionate about good food and quality ingredients.
