Science Club Assistant

We welcome applications via email for an additional Science Club assistant to help the Science leader run our activities and experiments during after school clubs and holiday clubs. The position could suit a school leaver or university student ideally with prior experience of working with young people. You will be helping children take part in the activities and also helping clean away equipment and setup for next activities. Candidates will be invited for interview if they have demonstrated experience working with children and will be asked to describe times they have taken initiative to complete a task and confidence to handle delicate situations.
The clubs are held at various times and locations around the island and so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential. An enhanced DBS check will be completed for successful candidates.
