We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our busy team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for the daily reconciliations and accounting within the Company. Other key responsibilities include: analysis of financial information to identify cash/card variances, monitoring and reconciling various voucher portals, preparation and maintenance of key spreadsheets, preparation of journals, reconciliation of control accounts, posting entries to the accounting system, adhering to financial controls and procedures, and providing cover for colleagues, as required.r

The successful candidate must have strong experience of reconciliations and bookkeeping, sound knowledge of accounting principles and VAT, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, be comfortable working with accounting software packages, proficient using MS Excel and Outlook, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work well with others as part of a small team and also independently, and have previous experience in a similar role. r
