Cleaning Operations Manager - Part-Time (Evening Shift).
Optimal Clean Limited, a well-established and expanding cleaning services provider based in the Isle of Man, is seeking a professional and highly experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team on a part-time, evening basis.
This is a key role suited to an individual with a strong background in the cleaning industry, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering service excellence.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the delivery of cleaning services across multiple commercial and residential sites. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring flexibility, initiative, and an exceptional eye for detail. The role is predominantly field-based, requiring evening availability and regular travel across the Island.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise cleaning teams across multiple sites.
Ensure all cleaning contracts are completed to the highest professional standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and performance audits.
Oversee staff rotas, recruitment, and on-site training.
Provide hands-on cleaning support when required to maintain service levels.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, responding promptly to feedback and concerns.
Monitor and manage stock levels and cleaning equipment across all sites.
Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Report regularly to company directors with operational updates.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in professional cleaning or facilities management.
Strong operational knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate teams effectively.
Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
A full clean driving licence (essential) and willingness to travel between sites.
A full DBS check will be carried out prior to employment.
Verifiable references from previous cleaning roles.
