IT Engineer Our Client seeks an IT Engineer to join their team. Role Profile: You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of hardware, software, and networks. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime.Provide technical support and guidance to employees across the organisation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT-related needs.Manage and secure company data, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices.Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency.Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and processes.Some travel across locations as required Key Skills & Experience:Minimum of 5 years; experience in technical IT roles.Relevant Microsoft or academic qualifications would be an advantage.Good knowledge of Microsoft server (2016 and above) and Active Directory.Good knowledge of M365 including admin centre, Exchange online and intune.Good Networking knowledge including vLANs, basic routing and switches.Knowledge and general awareness of IT security practices.Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to correctly diagnose and fix problems.Creative thinking to come up with innovate solutions to complex problems.Effective communication and people skills, with a wide range of stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
