Our client seeks a Credit Data Analyst to join their team. Role Profile: Supporting the Structured Finance Credit Team and wider Structured Finance Team in monitoring its Structured Finance Portfolio by collecting, analysing, interpreting, and assessing financial and non-financial data in-line with the Banks risk appetite, policy and criteria. You will provide insights, trend analysis, and assess key covenants (concentration, financial & customer loan performance). Assist the Structured Finance Team, in providing data, evaluate trends, forecast, and reporting. The role is strictly post sanction review and compliance, and so the job holder will not be involved in underwriting decisions /prepare analysis for underwriting decisions. Key Responsibilities:Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources. Reconcile and analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, insights, discrepancies and variances. To analyse audited accounts, management information, forecast cashflow, budget plans and open banking data. Monitor financial and non-financial covenants set for customers and provide information on any non-compliance to the Head of Structured Finance Credit Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Sales, Operations) to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights. Communicate findings clearly through visualisations, presentations, and written reports. Assist in defining and maintaining best practices for data analysis and reporting. Support A/B testing, cohort analysis, segmentation, and forecasting activities. Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting processes. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations. Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of the data Keep up to date with the Groups lending protocols (except for sanctioning criteria). Promote the Groups culture and values. Understand and comply with all applicable internal policies. To adhere to service levels Key Skills and Experience:Experience in data analysis or similar role. Sound understanding of financial statements, cashflow forecasting and key ratios. SQL skills (e.g., querying, data extraction, transformations). Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Solid understanding of statistical techniques and data modelling. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of working within the financial services sector / understanding the concepts of lending would be preferred.
