A fantastic opportunity to join our team as Vehicle Technician with additional responsibility supporting the delivery of our fleet strategy.
This exciting new appointment offers the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to the set-up of a new in-house garage to manage and maintain our fleet of 110 light commercial vehicles, including an expanding number of electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities: carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair faults across a variety of light commercial and electric vehicles, maintain accurate reports, work to specified schedules and report relevant business data, support the Fleet Manager with purchase and vehicle selection at UK online auctions, participate in ongoing training, as relevant to new electric vehicles/technology.
We are looking for: Level 3 Qualified Mechanic with substantive experience working on light commercial vehicles, IMI Level 4 Qualification - Electric Vehicles, experience with modern digital fleet management systems and technology, strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently
