L'Objet is a luxury lifestyle brand renowned for its exquisite home decor, accessories, and luxury personal and home fragrances. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team and oversee all financial aspects of operations.
Role Overview:
As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. You will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance while leading and mentoring a team across multiple locations. Your expertise will ensure the company maintains its financial health and achieves strategic goals in a global context.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a forward-thinking financial leader to shape the financial future of our growing luxury lifestyle brand. As a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, you’ll lead financial planning, drive profitability, and support decision-making across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
You will develop and execute financial strategies aligned with our business goals across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. Your scope includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with compliance across multiple jurisdictions (US, UK, Isle of Man).
Global & Operational Leadership:
Manage financial operations across offices in the Isle of Man, Dallas, and Portugal. Lead our NetSuite ERP transition, champion a data-driven mindset, and implement strong internal controls. You’ll also mentor a growing finance team and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments.
Strategic Projects & Investor Relations:
Support potential investor relations, M&A activity, and capital allocation initiatives. Drive scenario planning and financial modelling for pricing, inventory, and new projects.
HR & Culture:
Oversee HR compliance and cost control in partnership with external support. Cultivate a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented culture across the business.
What You Bring:
You have 10+ years of senior finance experience (including CFO-level leadership), deep knowledge of multi-channel business models, and fluency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems like NetSuite. You’re a strategic yet hands-on leader who excels at bridging teams and driving operational success.
