Temporary Medical Secretary and Senior Secretary required for the Public Sector.

Job Purpose:

The Secretary provides high-level administrative support, ensuring the efficient operation of the office through effective organisation, communication, and task management. This role is key to maintaining smooth workflows and supporting the leadership team in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and documents.

Handle incoming and outgoing communications - calls, emails, and mail.

Organise and maintain paper and electronic files and records.

Take accurate minutes at meetings and distribute accordingly.

Maintain office supplies and liaise with suppliers as needed.

Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Act as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Secretary or in a similar administrative role.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Professional demeanor and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.

Experience using calendar and scheduling tools.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
