Education Officer

The position includes predominately working within our Children’s Secure Home and in a peripatetic role with our young people in the residential homes. Bring your imagination to help create a bespoke learning package We aim to help young people develop core skills – both practical and academic, deepen their interests and explore new ideas. You will be involved in delivering group and one-to-one sessions, tailored to individual needs, working with the rest of the team to ensure our young people are provided with appropriate educational opportunities. The role requires knowledge of education support services and the ability to structure learning for different learning styles. You will be communicating with our young service users, schools & relevant agencies. Applicants will ideally already be on the DBS Update Service; if this is not the case St Christopher's will carry out a DBS (police) check prior to starting.
