As a Product Owner, you’ll lead product direction across multiple teams, owning backlogs and driving delivery of high-value features. With experience in gambling or related industries, you’ll manage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business goals. You’ll apply agile best practices, prioritize using data, and turn complex requirements into clear, actionable work, all while fostering team growth and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Management to identify needs and define clear, customer-focused requirements and user stories.
Ensure all requirements are detailed enough for teams to deliver high-quality outputs aligned with product goals.
Define, prioritise, and document features to maximize value delivery.
Own and maintain team backlogs, ensuring they are well-prioritised, up-to-date, and aligned with product strategy.
Provide teams with a continuous stream of ‘ready’ work that balances strategic priorities with early commercial value.
Regularly review and refine backlogs with Product Management and align processes within the Product Ownership group.
Collaborate with teams to refine, estimate, and plan backlog items.
Act as the customer advocate throughout the delivery process.
Own feature acceptance and serve as the product expert within the team.
Define and track KPIs, using data to drive decisions.
Produce clear reports for teams and stakeholders.
Ensure teams understand and align with the business strategy and product vision.
Guide and mentor Product Owners, driving high standards in backlog management and documentation.
Foster a fast-paced, solution-focused culture, helping teams overcome blockers and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience of software delivery.
Expert knowledge of agile delivery processes/framework.
Product domain expertise.
Experience of improving customer experience.
Able to assess the market, industry trends, marketing insights, business and contractual requirements.
Commercial acumen to assess business value.
Strong prioritisation skills in a high-tempo environment.
Data driven with exceptional time management.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Strong organisational skill with high attention to detail.
