Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation.
Assist in prepping ingredients (chopping, marinating, weighing) for Chinese dishes.
Maintain portion control and follow standard recipes.
Cook basic dishes (fried rice, dim sum, stir-fries) under supervision.
Kitchen Operations:
Ensure workstation hygiene complies with UK Food Hygiene Regulations (Level 2 certified).
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to senior chefs.
Team Support:
Work with wok chefs and dim sum chefs during peak service.
Clean and sanitise equipment (woks, steamers, knives) post-service.
