Ellan Vannin Home is a well-established care home dedicated to providing a high standard of care for our elderly residents. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where compassion and empathy are at the heart of everything we do. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day wellbeing of our residents, assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities include providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents, assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and when required mobility, promoting independence and dignity at all times, building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, working effectively as part of a caring and professional team, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Requirements include the ability to show compassion, patience, and empathy towards the elderly. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate, good communication and teamwork skills and a caring and respectful attitude.
