Personal Insurance Broker

About the role:

This role is all about delivering excellent customer service and professional advice to clients, whether face to face, by phone or over email. You’ll provide quotations, process policy adjustments, and handle all relevant documentation efficiently, ensuring a high standard of client administration is maintained at all times.

Building strong relationships with clients is key. You’ll play an important part in promoting customer satisfaction and representing the Rossborough brand. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-sell additional products and services where appropriate.

You’ll be expected to work towards achieving departmental targets and ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Keeping accurate records and meeting audit standards is an essential part of the role. A full job description is available on request.

What we're looking for:

You’ll need to be confident and clear in your communication, with excellent telephone manners and the ability to write well-structured letters and emails. Close attention to detail and accuracy is essential, as is the ability to deliver high levels of customer service when working with both clients and colleagues.

You should be comfortable working under pressure and able to manage your own workload without constant supervision. A willingness to learn is important; you’ll be expected to study towards the Certificate in Insurance and continue further studies through the Chartered Insurance Institute.

We’re looking for a team player who’s happy to collaborate and support colleagues. You’ll also need to be confident using Microsoft software, including Teams, Word and Outlook. Previous experience in personal lines insurance broking is preferred but not essential.
