Your role will include:
Managing and supporting workers so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability.
Supporting your manager to run your workplace according to standards and legislation.
Acting as a positive role model to colleagues and clients.
Developing care plans that outline what care and support individuals need.
Supporting the manager with inductions, supervisions and appraisals.
Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure individuals get the support they need.
Oversee compliance in line with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Ensure and maintain a positive working relationship with local authorities, business partnerships and other local community organisations.
Skills required:
Maintain the confidentiality of all clients and employees of 1st Care at Home (IOM) Ltd.
Full /clean driving license.
RQF qualification an added advantage – if this qualification is not yet obtained you must have the commitment to complete this qualification.
Be willing to learn new things.
Have hands-on Experience in delivering personal care to clients in their own home.
Have the ability to deal with conflict.
Have good communication skills both written and spoken.
Be willing and able to lead by example in care delivery in accordance with good practice and regulatory standards of care.
Have good basic computer skills.
Show dedication and commitment.
Lead by example and be an excellent and effective team player.
Demonstrate the ability to cope under pressure.
Demonstrate the ability to deal with change or emergencies – have a flexible approach.
Demonstrate the ability to display empathy and understanding.
