Sapphire Care Limited are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team at our residential home the Grest in Ramsey. This role involves supporting the manager with the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality care is delivered consistently.
As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily routines, administer and manage medication, and ensure support plans are regularly updated to reflect each individual's needs. You will also liaise with other healthcare professionals whenever concerns arise regarding residents' well being, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate daily records using our electronic care planning system. In addition, you will help to plan and provide stimulating and meaningful activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Good communication is vital in this role, as you will be working closely with residents, families, colleagues, and external professionals. You must hold an NVQ or RQF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or be in the process of completing it. Experience in moving and handling and medication administration would be beneficial; however, full training will be provided.
