Varied role ranging from sales invoice preparation and credit control, customer account management (finance), bank reconciliation, assisting with month end financial accounts, budget reporting and monitoring. Some payroll knowledge would also be an advantage. The post would be attractive to a person who has broad accounting and bookkeeping skills and may well have studied for or towards related examinations. A sound understanding of cut-off procedures for project work in progress calculations and sharp attention to detail is required. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential. This is very much a role acutely linked to the day to day decision making of a busy company with the incumbent reporting directly to a company director. It offers a countryside working location and free parking. Whilst the role is advertised as full time at 37.5 hours per week applicants able to do +30 hours per week may apply.
