Cafe Assistant:
A bit about the role: Day to day, you'll be making coffee, taking customers orders at the tills, serving food, clearing tables, talking with customers and other cafe duties.
As a small family run garden centre we want our customers served with a smile so they walk away happy and excited about their next visit; You will be working with your team to maintain health & safety and cleanliness across the store; Most importantly, having fun - this is your time to learn, develop and meet great people. A positive outlook, good attitude, and bags of personality; The communication skills to strike up a good conversation with our customers daily.
What we can offer: Starting rate of £12.25 p/h. Sociable 10am till 3pm daily working hours (no late evening work & useful for school pick ups). Discount on food and drinks. 23 days paid holiday pro rota, 20% discount across the garden centre, free staff parking.
Requirements:
Hours: 25 hours a week - 5 days work with 2 days off (Saturday or Sunday work day will be required).
Ability to be on your feet all day.
Great communication and customer service skills essential.
Work with a close team in a busy cafe environment.
Good work ethic.
Smart appearance.
Working with and reporting to the Cafe Manager.
