Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Senior / Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Team in addressing key legacy and compliance-related tasks. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial records and adherence to internal policies. The successful candidate will engage in the review and reconciliation of multi-currency ledger balances, identify and resolve mismatches, and liaise with the Accounts and PeopleSoft teams to validate entries. Additionally, the role involves documenting findings and proposing corrective actions. The ideal applicant will play a crucial part in investigating aged items on the balance sheet and collaborating with stakeholders to validate balances. Furthermore, supporting the preparation of reconciliations and audit-ready documentation is essential.
