Hailwood Medical Practice is an Emis web forward thinking service, in search of an enthusiastic and committed Practice nurse to join our small and friendly team. The role is a permanent position offering a part time position (negotiable but minimum of 22.5 hours per week).
Applicants need to be NMC registered, registration general Nurse with at least 2 years post registration experience. professional , friendly , reliable., punctual, be able to work within a multidisciplinary team and work under pressure.
Main duties:
Chronic disease management. Hypertension , including health promotion. Childhood and adult immunisations. Cervical cytology testing. Contraceptive advice. Well person checks and health promotion. Active participation in risk management. Re stocking and maintaining clinical areas.
Responsible for infection control & cold chain systems , vaccines and storage.
DBS and two references required.
