Home cook required for a small residential home. To manage the full running of the kitchen including all health safety, hygiene records and SFA requirements. To cook nutritious healthy meals for our residents.
Person Specification:
Previous experience of working in a care setting beneficial but not essential.
Qualifications/Training.
Good basic education.
In possession of City and Guilds Catering Qualification or equivalent.
Food Hygiene Level 3.
Practical Skills.
An effective communicator both orally and written.
Possess practical chef skills.
Possess an ability to relate to people of differing presentation.
Able to form positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
The ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Personal Qualities and Attributes:
Attention to detail and conscientious.
Approachable, friendly personality, well-mannered and confident.
Presentable in appearance.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and cope with pressure.
Flexible in thinking and open to change.
Dedicated, committed and able to maintain high standards.
