Fixed Term Contract for 3 Years.

We are looking for a Local Health and Wellbeing Lead to enable autistic adults and young people to understand and support their own health and wellbeing, improving their quality of life. You will plan and deliver group activities, work directly with people on a 1:1 basis and also work with staff teams to promote understanding of the benefits of healthy lifestyles for physical and mental wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of differences associated with autism, and a passion for the importance of awareness of healthy lifestyles, good nutrition and benefits of physical activity. Good communication, an ability to listen and understand the perspective of others, and to work as part of a team are also essential in this role.

Proficient IT skills in order to support good record keeping will also be essential. Some travel will be required across the Isle of Man with this post. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who hold a manual driving licence.

Ideally you will hold a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or, you will be required to obtain this qualification on successful appointment.
